Hello Beautiful People,
Gratitude is a concept that we are all aware of, but don’t always put to practice. Life comes at us from all sides, full of challenges. When going through tough situations it seems like we’ll never make it out, but whatever the situation is, it comes to an end, and it will be okay. And that’s something to be grateful for. Our everyday activities seem ordinary and expected, but we don’t always see their importance until they’re gone. My faith and belief in God have taught me to be grateful for whatever I have, and to take time out of my day and be thankful for these amazing things and happenings around me. We’re not always necessarily optimistic, but being grateful for what you have will help create a bright mindset.
I’m grateful for many things in my life, and I try to always remember how lucky and blessed I am. My parents. They have always been by my side, and they’ve sacrificed their lives and careers for me and my siblings. They moved to the US for a better life and opportunities for us. Making them proud, and keeping up my family’s legacy is a way for me to show how grateful I am to have them, and to prove that the sacrifices they made were worth it. Gratitude towards people, so that they can see it, is crucial, and while it may not always be indispensable, it’s worth it.
Humans are complex beings, and showing gratitude and kindness to one another, makes the giver and receiver of the gratitude feel amazing. When you know someone cares about you and is grateful for you, you feel content, and hopeful. Expressing gratitude for my teachers, and mentors who have inspired me and impacted my growth is something I remind myself always. All my friends, people who surround me, and are by my side, my neighbors, the air we breathe, the birds, the sky, the sun, the Earth, the Universe provide our lives with so many things to manifest gratitude towards.
Although it’s been a tough year so far, it’s important to believe in the good and to believe we will survive to build a better future, because we will prevail. Life isn’t simple, and it has its challenges, but gratitude and positivity help to overcome its struggles. Feeling grateful for the things you have, and showing gratitude to the people you appreciate, will not only make your life better, but it will put positivity in someone else’s as well.
Thank you for your time!
